My landlord kept my $1500 deposit over 'carpet damage'. I have video evidence the carpet was ruined before I moved in.
I literally filmed a 10-minute 4K walkthrough of every stain in the apartment the day I got the keys. The landlord is now trying to say I brought a secret pet that ruined the living room. He ignores the video and threatens to send me to collections.

My roommate uses my premium $60 face wash as body wash because he 'likes the tingle'. I charged him full price.
I found out he's been using my expensive dermatological face wash for his whole body for two weeks. Half the bottle is gone. I sent him a Venmo request for $60 and told him I'm keeping his deposit if he doesn't pay. He says I'm being petty over soap.
