By accessing or using Judgyapp ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone interacting with platform content.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Judgyapp provides an online community dispute submission and voting platform. AI-generated verdicts are produced for entertainment and informational purposes only. No verdict, community vote, or AI output constitutes legal advice, binding arbitration, or has any enforceable legal effect in any jurisdiction. We strongly encourage users to seek qualified legal counsel for real legal matters.
You agree not to engage in the following on or through the platform:
Judgyapp includes a social follow system and private Direct Messaging (DM) feature. The following rules apply:
You retain ownership of the content you submit. However, by posting any content on thejudgy.app, you grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, adapt, and process your content for platform operation, including using it to generate AI verdicts. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in harmful behavior, or where we believe a risk of legal liability exists, without prior notice and at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice or liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable EU and Dutch law, Judgyapp, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or real-world consequences arising from dispute outcomes. Our aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or such minimum amount as required by mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and applicable European Union regulations, including the GDPR. thejudgy.app complies with applicable EU regulations including the Digital Services Act (EU 2022/2065). As a micro/small platform, we are subject to the baseline obligations of the DSA including transparency, content reporting mechanisms, and cooperation with authorities. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
